Gas injector for an internal combustion engine
简介：A gas injector 10 for injection of a gaseous fuel such as hydrogen in an internal combustion engine. The injector comprising an injector body 12 defining a channel 20 extending from the inlet 14 to the outlet 18 with an outwardly opening pintle 26. The pintle moves between a closed position, in which a pintle head 30 engages an outlet valve seat 24, and an open position, in which the pintle head is spaced from the valve seat. The pintle shaft 28 comprises a hollow length 28.1 and apertures 26.1 and 26.2, thereby defining an axial gas passage between the inlet portion and the outlet portion. Two flexible sealing membranes 40, 40’ extend between the injector body and the pintle shaft to sealingly isolate the axial gas passage from an intermediate portion 44 of the injector, the intermediate portion 44 containing lubricating fluid along with an armature 32 and/or a spring 34.展开
